Calibrating Bay Data...
Performing a mechanical tie-rod alignment without recalibrating the internal optical Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) creates a dangerous sensor mismatch. The ESP computer believes the driver is actively steering, triggering phantom brake pulses on straight highways.
Using factory diagnostic scanners, our technicians command the ABS/ESP module into SAS learning mode with the wheels locked on the alignment turntable at true straight-ahead (0.00°).
